The Frost Protection Cover is proud to be made in the USA with the highest quality materials available. It works well with all sizes of the GreenStalk Vertical Planter and is ideal for use with at least one GreenStalk Plant Support. Plant Supports are sold separately. This cover can also be used for shrubs and trees.

Fantastic for those planters that are overwintered with plantings.
I have some of my GreenStalk planters that I overwinter with plants. Strawberries, Garlic and Onions are three of them. As my planters sit on my uncovered front porch all winter, I use the Frost Protection Covers on all of them. First, I use the GreenStalk Movers to push all 6 of my planters up against the house to shelter them, then using the GreenStalk Plant Supports, I place three supports at the top, middle and bottom of the planter. Using the Frost Protection Cover, I then cover my planter and secure it to the ground by tying sandbags to the grommets on the bottom of the cover. I live on a farm and the winter winds streaking across the empty fields are straight line winds. I need the sandbags to keep the covers from blowing away. They work great. This spring when I uncovered my strawberries, they were all in bloom. The garlic was 10 inches tall, and the onions were about 5 inches. These frost protection covers really protect.
