So far it stood through a major wind storm along with the others that we have bought. I plan to plant hummingbird flowers in this red one once it warms up.
SOOO excited to have a vertical garden!
I bought my green stalk 5 level last year as a Mother’s Day gift to myself. I felt a little intimidated on what to plant in it as I had bought small knockoffs that tipped over during rains and winds. I started with just 3 levels and am slowly building up- didn’t realize how much soil they hold- I love the concept and even created a worm compost bin in one of the pockets. I have to stack first then fill as it’s too heavy for me, but once it snaps in place- I fill the next one.
I really like the Snow 5 tier Greenstalk planter. I also already bought the 7 Tier when it was first launched. So I have both version of the snow (Basket Wave Texture). I mixed the Glacier Blue and some of the Snow for my winter planter and have pansies, swiss chard, collard greens, snap dragon, violas, silver dusty miller flower and some cyclamens that are still growing and all looking beautiful in my zone 9B Katy, Texas.
I purchased two other Greenstalks while waiting for you to once again offer the yellow one, which was my first choice. Finally, it was available and I ordered it the moment I received your email that it was for sale again. Love both of the other two but seriously, the yellow one is so sunny and it just brightens my small space. My husband, who truly couldn't care less about gardening until harvest time arrives, has commented on it quite often. It is gorgeous and not yet in flower!! Thank you for having it back in stock for those of us who missed out on it last time around.
It's the beginning of March so I am not including a picture. I planted about 50% seeds so my Greenstalk isn't at it's most beautiful yet. I will post a picture at the end of April when she should be in her total glory.
