I think the new lids with the opening on top would be easier to use. I like this lid, but it is not easy to take it off and put it back on. I know there's an opening to put a hose, but that's also not super easy to use. It's not horrible. But kudos to Greenstalk for upgrading the design!

This lid is fantastic for keeping debris out of the watering system--especially if that debris purrs and loves to curl up in the top. It also gives the whole GreenStalk system a more "finished" look, like matting around an artwork.
