This lid is fantastic for keeping debris out of the watering system--especially if that debris purrs and loves to curl up in the top. It also gives the whole GreenStalk system a more "finished" look, like matting around an artwork.

The GreenStalk lid is well made and fits very well. It actually lightly snaps on, which is a good thing for me as I live in a very windy area. I highly suggest this product.

Lid comfortably fits the planter and serves to keep flying debris out. In a tree cover area with lots of birds, its very helpful. I noticed the earwigs like to hide in there too. Every once in a while, I give them the shock of their little lives by opening and letting the light in, and watching them scramble. I guess it's also a good way to trap and dispose of them too.
