Happy I got a matching lid to go with my Greenstalk as it helps prevent debris from flying in and clogging up the watering system. It is a little annoying to snap off the lid without lifting the whole top level with one hand (hose in the other), but still worth it in my opinion!

I ordered an original Greenstalk tower with the matching lid as a gift and was disappointed that the lid had several irregular light spots in the plastic. The top of the lid is only visible to taller people once installed so, if the spots do not affect the durability of the plastic, it is not a big deal (but not a great look for a gift). I was expecting better quality control.
