Easy Hearty Ground Beef Stir Fry

Kathy, GreenStalk's Inventor's wife, has been serving this recipe for over 40 years! Her five children grew up loving this dish. The smell of garlic cooking was always a favorite in the Peterson household. This ground beef stir fry is also quite nutritious and uses many vegetables that can be grown in a GreenStalk!

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lawry's season salt
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
  • 3 medium sized onions, chopped or sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped or sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped or sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped or sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
A bowl of ground beef stir fry ready to enjoy

Directions

Step 1

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked through and set aside.

Step 2

In a separate pan, cook onions and peppers in olive oil until softened. Add garlic. Add cooked ground beef and seasonings. Add tomatoes and stir until all combined.

Step 3

Serve with sour cream and shredded cheese. Enjoy!
